WebClip2Go Adds ‘smooth transition’ Functionality
New function increases creative options with no complexity

Veenendaal, The Netherlands _ 30 September 2021
WebClip2Go – an innovative new all-in-one, crewless, studio-based production system that allows even those without any editing know-how to produce professional level videos – today announces the addition of a ‘smooth transition’ functionality, giving users even more creative opportunities within their productions.
Whilst transition elements constitute a fundamental part of many editing technologies, users need to gain mastery of these editing suites as a whole before they are able to deploy the creative elements within them. In contrast, WebClip2Go represents a production technology which simplifies and front-loads much of the traditional film-then-edit process, automating a number of steps to make the process significantly faster, more efficient, and achievable at a fraction of the cost.
In essence, the WebClip2Go system eliminates editing by instead allowing users to film segments directly into pre-set templates. These templates can be selected and triggered in different ways depending on the configuration of the system; for instance, through the development of a PowerPoint presentation or through the use of a live-switching StreamDeck® panel. Users select a template, input their content and then film to camera; the output is rendered in real-time. Now, as well as a host of titles, on-screen graphics, video and audio elements, these templates can include varied transitions – moving beyond the traditional hard cuts that the user has been limited in previous versions.
By basing the system on the creation of templates, the ultimate benefit for users is that no post-editing process is applied; they simply select templates to film into using an intuitive process that can be learnt in 15 minutes. These templates are fully customisable, but most crucially reusable, allowing for much faster batch-creation of videos that are similar in nature, and thus making the system ideal for teachers, retailers, corporate video creators – indeed, anybody who has a need to create a high volume of videos that have a consistent, standardised aesthetic and flow.
Speaking of the new addition, CEO of WebClip2Go, Gerrit Bulten, said: “The core principle of WebClip2Go is the idea of putting professional level tools in the hands of those that don’t have professional-level editing experience. But it is a challenging undertaking to give users the whole range of editing elements without introducing the complexity and time-consuming nature normally associated with editing”.
He continued: “The integration of these smooth transitions in a way that does not demand any extra effort or thought from the user is just one example of how we’re managing to find new ways to generate sophisticated outputs from simplified inputs – allowing users to make professional-level productions with a fraction of the time, resources and knowledge that would normally be needed”.
