WebClip2Go Install ‘Senate Room’ Recording System for Utrecht University

Moves the system beyond DIY studio to full, any-context, automated production facility

Press Release

Veenendaal, The Netherlands _10 January, 2024

Utrecht University has selected WebClip2Go to provide an automated recording system, installed in-situ in their grand ‘Senate Room’, where PhD candidates undertake their viva – a process in which they are questioned upon and defend their submitted doctoral thesis. More than 200 of these events are carried out on an annual basis, and the WebClip2Go system was deemed to meet the stringent requirements of the university, which needed the system not only to ensure academic integrity in the most efficient and reliable way possible, but also to produce high quality, professional-grade recordings to honour the significance of each occasion and mark it for posterity.

Utrecht University commissions all of their technology implementations through preferred supplier JNV, who after a rigorous testing and comparison of various recording systems identified that the WebClip2Go system was unrivalled in the smooth, easy-use-nature of its automation workflows, and the quality of the output delivered.

webclip2go-installed-two-systems-utrecht-university-educationThis was particularly true given the very specific demands of viva recording; whilst certain elements of the procedure are easily automated (such as the entry and exit ceremonies), the back-and-forth dialogue-based nature of the procedure itself required more sophisticated solutions. WebClip2Go provided for this with its VCP feature, which engages in automated switching based on who is speaking. The system can also be adjusted to randomize reaction shots to create a more naturalistic recording – replicating the experience of being in the room and witnessing the viva thesis defense live.

From a hardware perspective, the WebClip2Go system brought together four Canon PTZ cameras, meaning that pan, tilt and zoom movements could be added to the shots (also on an automated basis), creating a more dynamic, less static feel to the recording. Dante audio input and Televic systems were also supported, allowing for crystal clear audio capture, with Cisco and Crestron systems facilitating remote video conference attendance and the control of auxiliary equipment, such as additional screens. With the MAX WebClip2Go model supporting eight simultaneous input sources, even the most complex of viva presentations could be recorded without issue.

Alongside the technological challenges of the job, the logistics associated with the installation were also crucial. Only six weeks were available for the removal of the existing system and installation of the WebClip2Go-based replacement. Off-site testing was therefore crucial, alongside an approach to service delivery and installation that was efficient, professional and meticulous.

Commenting on the project for WebClip2Go, CEO Gerrit Bulten said: “This installation at Utrecht University represents a natural evolution of application for a system that itself has been evolving for years –  moving beyond its exclusive role as a DIY studio, and allowing it to operate also as a full video automation system, capable of handling productions in any space or context. This versatility will prove to be of growing importance to higher education providers, who are integrating video into their operations in increasingly sophisticated ways”.

WebClip2Go Completes Sale of Two Systems to Saxion University

The Presenter systems have been installed in Deventer and Enschede

Press Release

Veenendaal, The Netherlands _ 13 December 2023

WebClip2Go today announces completion of a recent deal with Saxion University of Applied Sciences (Saxion Hogeschool), which saw the installation of two WebClip2Go Presenter Systems at locations in both Deventer and Enschede. These Presenter systems have been integrated into the Kaltura Media Asset Management System – which the university already uses – and thus allow teachers to create new content and deliver it through their established e-learning streaming platform.

Saxion University, established in 1998, provides over 100 different applied courses to a student base of more than 27,000. Priding itself on the delivery of forward-thinking, technology-led education, it is not just the subjects themselves which focus on technological innovation, but the teaching delivery methods also. Resultantly, the university supplements all of its in-person teaching with online videos which students can revisit at their own convenience, providing a learning experience that is both more flexible in terms of student access, and more targeted towards individual learner needs. They reached out to AV system and solution providers Cue Support for consultation and advice, and after careful analysis of the university’s needs, Cue Support were able to confidently recommend WebClip2Go.

webclip2go-sold-two-systems-saxion-university-nederlandWith the WebClip2Go Presenter System, tutors are able to create their own unique, reusable video lessons and educational clips, using PowerPoint to create both the content and structure of their video. Once created, teachers simply deliver their video to camera in a single take, with the video rendered immediately. Green screen background, colour grading, transitions, titles, video clips, illustrations, animations, music and audio effects are automatically inserted according to the prompts set within the initial PowerPoint template. With no need for post-production editing, the system can be used by anybody with only fifteen minutes of training, and grants the ability to produce multiple professional-grade videos using the same underlying template in a very short space of time.

When combined with the fact that videos can be repeatedly re-used as educational resources across classes, this speed of production maximises the efficient use of teacher time and ensures that teachers can devote themselves to delivering improved one-to-one contact time with students, rather than delivering repetitive lectures or creating a constant output of learning resources. A number of universities also grant student access to the studio – which itself is small, self-contained and highly automated – allowing students a novel way to produce knowledge outputs that incorporate real-world, employable skills in a way not matched by traditional essays, reports or exams.

Commenting on the sale, WebClip2Go CEO Gerrit Bulten said: “This recent implementation at Saxion Hogeschool is a strong indicator of WebClip2Go’s growth – not only in terms of market penetration and the increasingly extensive use of the system across universities in Europe, but also the growth of the system itself: integrating an increasing range of innovative functionalities that benefit students and teachers alike, whilst all the while avoiding additional complexity. Ease-of-use remains at the forefront of our thinking, and WebClip2Go remains highly innovative in the way that it turns the video production process on its head, making content creation readily available to everybody, with no need for professional experience”. He concluded: “We’re very proud to have two systems installed at Saxion University, whose mindset towards the deployment of innovative technology in higher education has always been leading in the field. Much thanks must be given to Cue Support, who have proved to be exceptional and like-minded supporters of the WebClip2Go philosophy and product range, and are instrumental in helping us communicate the potential of our system to a wide range of customers”.

WebClip2Go Installs New System at University of Granada

WebClip2Go Installs New System at University of Granada

Installation sees addition of Spanish language to teleprompter speed control

Press Release

Veenendaal, The Netherlands _ 20 June 2023

WebClip2Go today announces completion of the sale of their innovative production studio system to the University of Granada. Installation of the new system will enable the academic staff at Granada to augment their teaching with the production of in-house educational and explanatory videos that supplement student learning and allow them to access valuable resources in their own time, and at their own pace.

The University of Granada (UGR) – the fourth largest university in Spain and primary Erasmus destination for European students – was founded in 1531 by Emperor Charles V, and now maintains a student base of 60,000 students across campuses in Granada, Ceuta and Melilla. Ranking highly in the delivery of linguistics, computing and mathematics courses, the University of Granada is committed to providing progressive and innovative ways for students to engage with their learning.

The WebClip2Go system provides exactly this potential. Available in six different configurations, UGR were able to select the system that met their needs in terms of functionality, technical output and budget. The Presenter System selected by Granada incorporates everything needed to create a miniature studio; including camera, mics, light, teleprompter, control unit and greenscreen, and thus allows for presenters to deliver lessons, lectures and videobites to camera, using a greenscreen background and range of professional video effects to augment their message. The University of Granada also added optional tablet functionality to their setup, allowing them to draw images onscreen as they present. Installed within a DemVox soundproof booth to reduce outside disturbance, the system takes up a marginal on-site footprint.

But it was not just the small footprint that attracted UGR’s interest. Unlike other video production systems, WebClip2Go turns the editing system on its head. It allows users to pre-load templates, script and video elements – including greenscreen background, colour grading, transitions, titles, clips, illustrations, animations, music and audio effects. The script is then fed to the teleprompter (which uses speech recognition to regulate the pace of display), and presenters enter the studio to deliver their presentation in a single take, with transitions and elements added automatically and rendered immediately. This eliminates the need for post-production editing, and means that teachers can re-use template elements to create videos quickly and maintain a consistent aesthetic across their outputs.

More than this, through use of the PowerPoint module – also selected by the University of Granada in their installation – users are able to setup and load these templates simply by creating their content in a PowerPoint presentation. Commands within the PPT trigger transitions and other elements, whilst the slide itself provides the greenscreen background, and the notes section provide the script that appears on the teleprompter. This remarkable ease of use means that anybody can be trained to deliver a video to camera without any need for additional experts, in the space of just 15 minutes.

university-granada-webclip2goSpeaking of the way they will be using the system, Marisa Garcia Arias, Audiovisual Communications Engineer at University of Granada said: “Delivering an exceptional learning experience to our students is a top priority at the University of Granada. Increasingly they are looking for versatile ways to learn, especially as many are Erasmus students who may travel internationally and not always be present for on-site lectures. The WebClip2Go system provides remarkable potential in allowing our teachers to create reusable resources, in turn granting them more time to engage meaningfully with students in one-to-one contexts. The ease-of-use also means that we can actually allow our students to utilise the system, providing innovative new ways for them to output their learning, whilst arming them with practical, employable skills”.

Gerrit Bulten, CEO of WebClip2Go, said of the installation: “The march of WebClip2Go across the major educational institutions of Europe continues apace. This extension into Spain also sees us add speech recognition for Spanish, alongside our existing capabilities in English, Dutch, German and Norwegian – and we will be adding new languages at the request of new clients as we continue our European expansion. We are pleased and proud with the feedback we received from the University of Granada, not only in relation to the capabilities of the system, but the quality of sales, service and installation that has supported the process”.

Eindhoven University Acquire WebClip2Go Studio

They join a growing range of educational institutions making use of video

Press Release

Veenendaal, The Netherlands _ 5 July, 2022

WebClip2Go – an innovative new DIY (Do-It-Yourself) video production system – has recently secured a sale of a comprehensive studio and system to TU/e Eindhoven University of Technology. The university will use the system to provide video presentations to its students, and as mechanism for interacting with incubator projects from companies that are developed through the TU/e Innovation space.

The WebClip2Go solution represents a completely unique approach to the production of presenter-based video content – turning conventional approaches to editing and filming on their head, and allowing non-professional users to create professional-level outputs. With increasing penetration across the Benelux Higher Education sector, WebClip2Go represents an ideal solution for students and teachers alike, since it allows teachers to create re-usable videos on their own using only PowerPoint, and – unlike other systems on the market – requires only minimal system-specific training: a new user can be up-to-speed in 20 minutes. The entire faculty can utilize the system without there needing to be a specialist technician on site to supervise each production – they simply access the templates that have been set according to their needs.

Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is a research university specializing in engineering science & technology. Founded in 1956 by industry, local government and academia, the university maintains a strong focus on collaboration, challenge-based learning, knowledge exchange and student entrepreneurship. Their motivation for the purchase of a WebClip2Go studio therefore came firstly from their reputation as an educational facility that uses technology to provide the best possible learning experience. Thus, for students, the ability to access educational materials in video format, at their own time, at their own pace and from remote locations provides significant learning benefits. In addition though, in pursuit of their mission to facilitate knowledge exchange, student entrepreneurship and industry-relevant skills development, TU/e will also be using their studios to allow students new ways of outputting their learning and knowledge, facilitating the development of further technical and creative skills that have wider applicability in the commercial world.

The WebClip2Go system allows for this because of its intuitive nature, and the fact that a user can self-produce a video (with no crew) in the length of time it takes to record to camera, in a single take, with no post-editing required. Using a green screen and teleprompter, it is ideal for any ‘presenter to camera’ production, with the content of the PowerPoint dictating the background and visual effects/transitions, as well as feeding the teleprompter with the script directly from the PowerPoints notes section. Rendered in real-time, the video is completed the moment the presenter finishes recording.

university-Eindhoven-technology-research-buy-webclip2go-studio-video-educationWhilst the education market constitutes one of the sectors to most benefit from this technology, the basic system and the range of additional customisations available also mean that WebClip2Go can be used in diverse industries; retail, fashion, corporate, news and weather – and is particularly suited to applications where there is a  need to create repeated videos of a similar format. Users have been able to create as many as one hundred short videos in a day – a fraction of the time and cost of traditional production approaches.

Speaking of TU/e’s acquisition of a system, Gerrit Bulten – CEO of WebClip2GO – said: “Eindhoven is joining a growing range of universities who are recognizing the importance of providing a progressive, tailored approach to their students’ learning. WebClip2Go is an immensely versatile, effective and efficient learning tool – its intuitive approach means teachers and students can pick it up in minutes, and create video outputs to be proud of”.

WebClip2Go Beefs Up its Hardware Base

WebClip2Go Beefs Up its Hardware Base

New GPU and CPU will facilitate four x 4k channel recording

Veenendaal, The Netherlands _ 9 May, 2022

WebClip2Go – an innovative new video production system – today announces that it will introduce a new hardware package which will yet further enhance the functionality of the system and the quality of the video it can output. These hardware enhancements include an upgrade to a CORE i9 CPU and the addition of an NVIDIA RTX series graphics card. These enhancements will allow the system to process and record up to four 4k inputs in order to generate a final composite 4K output. Existing customers who are part of the upgrade and support scheme will be able to have their license moved to the new hardware setup at cost.

WebClip2Go represents a unique piece of software which fundamentally rethinks the way that video production is undertaken, but ships as a full solution, including the hardware upon which the system runs, and the auxiliary components required for customers to setup their own in-house (mini-)studio, complete with lights, cameras, microphones, teleprompter and green screen. The new higher-end hardware offering will see users able to leverage the full potential of the system, which has always maintained resolution independence, but until now has been practically limited by hardware to one 4K input (plus other full HD input channels) when delivering rendered output in real-time.

WebCli2Go-Beefs-up-its-hardwareAnd it is this real-time rendering which is key to the WebClip2Go proposition. Essentially, with WebClip2Go the workflow process associated with traditional production is reversed. An easy-to-use GUI allows for the creation of professional-level ‘templates’ – including all the transitions, animations, titles, colour grading, sound FX, and animated elements that you would expect. A user can usually get up to speed with the concept after only a few hours of training.

Those seeking to create a video then merely need to load one of these templates and deliver straight to camera. The teleprompter feeds the script and template components to the presenter, who records in real-time and obtains an immediately rendered output. The process completely eliminates the need for a crew, editing, post-production, or time consuming rendering, and can thus be achieved by one person in a matter of minutes.

Moreover, with the addition of complimentary components such as the live switching or PowerPoint modules, non-experts can set up their desired template flow – or trigger it in real-time – with no system expertise needed. WebClip2Go thus democratizes video production, putting the ability to create professional grade video in the hands of a whole host of industry sectors and markets who would normally find the costs and expense of traditional video production entirely prohibitive. WebClip2Go’s predominant customer-based has mainly been that of education providers, online retail and corporate organisations seeking to diversify their communications with Webinars, chatshows and product explanation videos, but realistically, the potentially applications of the system are practically limitless.

Speaking of the new hardware package, CEO of WebClip2Go Gerrit Bulten said: “WebClip2Go has always been resolution independent; we built that into the software right from Day One. But of course that theoretical ability to handle resolutions of any size needs to be matched by the realistic ability of the hardware. Fortunately, as both CPU and GPU technologies continue to evolve and the costs associated with them continue to come down, we’re now able to offer a competitively-priced setup which leverages full value from the incredible potential of the WebClip2Go program”.

He continued: “In many ways it has always felt counter-intuitive to add higher-end offerings (such as this new hardware package, or our Ultimate Chromakey extension) to our product range, since the ‘standard’ WebClip2Go system already produces such remarkable results; granting users with no AV or broadcast experience the ability to generate professional-grade video. But with these enhanced offerings, we move into territory that starts to rival broadcast-specific applications, demonstrating just how wide-reaching the potential of WebClip2Go is”.

WebClip2Go to Exhibit at the Media and Learning Show 2022

WebClip2Go to Exhibit at the Media and Learning Show 2022
Including live tours of KU Leuven installation

Veenendaal, The Netherlands _ 4 May, 2022

WebClip2Go, an offshoot of Dutch-based Burst Video, will be exhibiting at the Media and Learning Show in Leuven, Belgium (booth 9) on the 2nd and 3rd of June. Building on the huge success experienced at the 2019 event, they will be demonstrating particularly how their innovative approach to video production has the potential to bring significant benefit to the education sector as a result of its ‘no edit’ workflow.

The Media and Learning Show represents a conference rather than a traditional exposition, and thus represents a more intimate opportunity for educational practitioners to gather with providers of media-based educational resources in order to “share experience, discuss challenges and debate solutions, as well as to catch up with old friends and colleagues and meet new people“.

Media-Learning-Show-Belgiun-Only a limited number of companies will thus be exhibiting their products, of which WebClip2Go is one. WebClip2Go’s attendance makes particular sense given that the Media and Learning Show is co-hosted by KU Leuven, where five WebClip2Go studios have already been installed. A number of community workshops and tours of the university installation will be undertaken over the course of the two day event, with attendees then able to consult with WebClip2Go in person once they have experienced the system and its benefits first hand. WebClip2Go will also demonstrate how their newly released hardware setup has now extended the technical capabilities of the system, including the ability to accommodate up to four 4K inputs.

Launched in 2016 as spin-off of the well-established Burst Video (a broadcast solutions integrator with over 30 years of experience), WebClip2Go constitutes a full studio solution that aims to revolutionise the way in which video production can be achieved by individuals who are working without a crew or any specialist underpinning video production knowledge. With the essential aim of making video production more intuitive, less complex, and more accessible, the system is available in three different configurations: basic, live switching and PowerPoint Presentation. The latter in particular has benefits for both teachers and students, since it allows for the rapid production of videos – as quickly as 15 minutes. Users simply prepare their Powerpoint presentation – which feeds directly to the teleprompter, and then record in the studio. The output video is ready straight away.

Speaking about the benefits that the WebClip2Go system can bring to the education market, WebClip2Go’s CEO Gerrit Bulten said: “The number of universities already using the WebClip2Go system is testament to how effective it is, and the last two years have shown the importance of providing educational resources using a range of media – of which video is perhaps one of the most important. This isn’t just to do with the increasing importance of distance learning but the fact that the educational market is becoming more competitive, and increasingly learners are becoming more demanding, seeking the ability to study in their own time, at their own pace, and using a learning style that suits them: in this case, visual rather than text based“.

He continued: “More than this though, producing professional-level video content provides institutions the potential for monetization of their biggest resource: knowledge and expertise. Whilst ‘traditional‘ video production would be too time-consuming and expensive to take advantage of these resources, the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of the WebClip2Go solution opens up this potential”.

WebClip2Go Welcomes Four More Universities as ‘Multi-System’ Users

WebClip2Go Welcomes Four More Universities as ‘Multi-System’ Users

The popularity and success of the system has driven demand for more studio access time

 Press Release

Veenendaal, The Netherlands _ 30 March, 2021

WebClip2Go has announced a spate of new installations undertaken for existing clients, resulting in four more institutions joining Delft University as multiple-system users. The incredible initial success of the WebClip2Go system in each of the universities has driven so much interest from teachers eager to use the system that it has been necessary to install subsequent units in order to keep up with the demand for studio time.

The first of these universities, the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, acquired two systems to work side-by-side with their initial purchase. At Groningen University, the second system is located on a separate campus. Similarly, KU Leuven – who have acquired their third system – will distribute their studios around the city, whilst UCLL (University of Applied Sciences) will maintain one existing system in Leuven, and have installed the second in Diepenbeek.

“The demand from our teachers for access to the system in order to create their teaching materials and content is huge. They love what WebClip2Go allows them to do, and how easy it is to use. There is also increasing demand from students to create video as part of their classwork or to support their extra-curricular activities. But there simply isn’t enough time in the day to let students and teachers into the studio to do their recordings. With the systems being as cost-effective and space-efficient as they are, it was perfectly feasible to expand to the addition of a second system in order to accommodate students,” said Michel Beerens, for Delft University.

UCLL-University-WebClip2Go-video-Presentation-students, teachers-DelftSpeaking of their installation in Diepenbeek, Johan Driesmans ICT OPS support coordinator at UCLL said: “By installing a second system on our campus in Diepenbeek – almost an hour’s drive from our Leuven base – we have made the system accessible to everyone. This just wouldn’t be possible with a large-scale, centralized studio. It has also been a blessing in light of the increased need for social detachment.”

Commenting on their motivation for a second acquisition, Johan Driesmans stated that teachers who used the production tool to create dynamic, professional teaching materials were recognizing how receptive students were to the ability to access short knowledge clips –  specific to the nature of their studies rather than generically sourced from the internet – and use them to enhance their self-study activities, working at their own pace and in their own time.

WebClip2Go turns the nature of video production on its head and eliminates the need for complex editing knowledge and software, whilst still delivering the same polished results as conventional production and editing, in a fraction of the time. But it is not merely the innovative nature of the product which has motivated these universities to make second, third or even fourth purchases. Instead, it is also the close working relationship and support that WebClip2Go are able to offer their clients.

For instance, as WebClip2Go and Groningen have deepened their working relationship, it has been possible for WebClip2Go to make modifications to the product to meet the needs of system users within the university. In particular, many tutors felt that it was important to still include interaction with a blackboard within their delivery-to-camera. Resultantly, WebClip2Go developed a special studio setup that included both a green screen for chroma-keyed background effects (a standard part of the WebClip2Go setup), as well as a blackboard. An automatic switcher changes camera when motion towards the board is detected – thereby maintaining all of the ease-of-use and intuitiveness of the existing system, but adding further flexibility of function.

Another key element lauded by users is the ease of integrating WebClip2Go into existing university IT infrastructures. Jan-Theo Stol, project manager of audio-visual activities at Groningen University, stated that “with so many stakeholders making use of a vast and complex IT system – both within the university and outside of it, we have high levels of security that can often be difficult to integrate with third party systems. However, the nature of the WebClip2Go system – and the technical support provided by the company itself – mean that we have avoided many of the pitfalls often associated with using external hardware and software.“

WebClip2Go-Ultimatte-Chrstomakeying-addonCommenting on the number of clients who have sought multiple system purchases, Gerrit Bulten, CEO of WebClip2Go, stated: “I think any repurchase is always testament of the satisfaction that a client has felt, both in relation to the product, and the service that surrounds it.“ He continued: “WebClip2Go is entirely self-contained, and for many, one system will completely fulfil their needs. But when stakeholders within an organisation see the benefits and also want the opportunity to use it, then logistically, there simply needs to be more physical studio spaces for them to access in tandem – there are, after all, only so many hours in the day in which to record. Fortunately, the cost-effective, install-anywhere nature of WebClip2Go means it is often a no-brainer for these organisations to deploy multiple systems, and thus double or triple their recording capacity.“

Veenendaal, The Netherlands _ 10 March, 2021

As Delft University increasingly moves into the delivery of online and remote learning content, it today announces acquisition of a fourth WebClip2Go system. Delft University have been using WebClip2Go as a means of educational video production since March 2019 when they acquired their first unit.

WebClip2Go is a completely unique approach to the production of presenter-based video content – turning conventional approaches to editing and filming on their head, and allowing non-professional users to create professional-level content. It is ideal for use in educational settings, allowing teachers to create online lessons that combine a variety of elements; presentation to screen, demonstrations, background slides, video, audio and transitions. Tutors need no more than a basic knowledge of PowerPoint to prepare the video template (with pre-programmed slides being used to trigger various video elements), and a space of just a few meters square for the setup of the studio.

Delft-University-Purchases-Fourth-systemWith the success experienced using the first system – particularly in the wake of a year of lockdowns and distance learning for university students – Delft University were simply not able to keep up with demand for studio time so that teachers could record lessons. Expansion to a second and then third system quickly followed.

As well as allowing the university to meet capacity demands from tutors eager to make their remote teaching content more effective through the production of professional-level videos, Delft University also recognised that by locating studios around the city – and indeed, even in locations outside of Delft – this made them more convenient for teachers to access.

It was this which prompted Delft to move towards acquiring a fourth system, now giving them three systems located within Delft, and one in Amsterdam. Unlike a traditional studio setup, which would be too expensive and cumbersome to install in multiple locations, the versatile, condensed nature of WebClip2Go means that teachers can access studios located within their own building, rather than having to travel to a centralized location.

Moreover, the convenient way in which teachers can prepare their presentations – using PowerPoint to program both content and video elements – means that the majority of the work can be completed at home, with in-studio time limited to only the time it takes to deliver the presentation to camera. Because of the nature of WebClip2Go, that is most commonly a one-take affair. As such, by limiting how far staff have to travel, and facilitating the majority of the production process at home, WebClip2Go is contributing to the on-going safety and well-being of staff members during the pandemic.

The introduction of a fourth system means that Delft now have the capacity to extend studio use to students as well as teachers. The benefits of videos in terms of delivering content to students has been well established, but now students can explore new skills and a greater range of learning styles by delivering learning outputs through video, rather than the more conventional – and restrictive – essay format. Students have also used video production as a means to engage in extra-curricular activities ( such as presenting their projects to other universities); including fundraising and awareness campaigns.

Speaking of the benefits that the four systems have brought to Delft University, Michel Beerens, Head of the NewMedia Centre at the Delft University of Technology said: “WebClip2Go has become more important to us than ever this year. Of course online conference applications have necessarily formed a part of our curriculum delivery, but this method is fraught with difficulties; especially for students living in houses where many learners and workers are competing for bandwidth at the same time. Connectivity issues are frustrating, demotivating and ultimately undermine the learning experience. Conversely, videos produced with WebClip2Go actively enhance the learning experience; allowing students to engage with the content in their own time, at their own pace, and in their own way. It is an absolutely key tool in our remote-learning arsenal.”

Commenting on Delft University’s acquisition of a fourth system, Gerrit Bulten, CEO of WebClip2Go said: “Delft University leads the way with the use of multiple WebClip2Go units, but they are joined by a number of other universities, including KU and UCCL in Leuven, Erasmus in Rotterdam, and Rijks in Groningen. I think these repeat purchases speak to just how effective educational institutions are finding WebClip2Go as a method for teaching –  tutors are clamoring to create content, and WebClip2Go makes it easy-to-do; intuitive-to-use, fast, inexpensive and capable of installation within existing university structures.”
